Bee friendly stands for diversity and sustainability. Therefore, we are very pleased to introduce our latest cooperation partner: Lebenshilfe Wiesloch. While Bee friendly works to promote floral diversity and protect bees, Lebenshilfe Wiesloch ensures that diversity thrives in society.
We are very proud to announce that Bee friendly bee seed is now processed at the Kurpfalz Workshop of Lebenshilfe Wiesloch. The Kurpfalz Workshop currently employs around 200 people with disabilities and also offers professional training and support opportunities.
Cooperation with Lebenshilfe Wiesloch: Bee friendly in the Kurpfalz workshop
A secure workplace is no longer a given in today’s world. For people with disabilities, the situation is often even more challenging. We join the principle of Lebenshilfe when we say: People with disabilities have a right to work and employment.
The Kurpfalz Workshop in Wiesloch is a special place where this principle is put into practice. Currently, around 200 people with disabilities find work, meaning, and structure there. The Kurpfalz Workshop is managed by Christian Wirth, the Technical Director. He sums up the mission statement: “Breaking down barriers, fostering talents. For equal opportunities in life!” At Lebenshilfe Wiesloch, there are various work areas: from metalworking to packaging or landscaping, there is work for everyone.
For Bee friendly, the employees of the Kurpfalz Workshop will process the bee seed. Specifically, they take care of packaging, filling, and labeling the bags – ensuring that our production remains sustainable and local. “Our employees, even with disabilities, work as diligently as a bee,” explains Wirth.

Lebenshilfe Wiesloch: “For inclusion, for bees, for our planet!”
We are proud that at Bee friendly, we can make a small contribution to supporting Lebenshilfe. However, we should not forget all the (often voluntary) employees who accomplish incredible things day in and day out. Their work makes the world a better place by promoting diversity and realizing participation.
At Bee friendly, we also subscribe to the motto of Lebenshilfe: “It is normal to be different,” by Richard von Weizsäcker. We want a society that is at least as colorful as our flower meadows. We look forward to future collaboration and thank Lebenshilfe.
